Preparation : Fasting labs ideal

INCLUDED:

Complete blood count-hemoglobin, white blood cells test for inflammation, infections and immune system. Watch for low hgb, hct, mcv, mchc for signs of anemia

Iron-Looks for anemia, iron carriers oxygen that aids the hair follicle for growth

Transferrin Saturation-amount of iron to receptors.  if low can yield hair loss

Ferritin-Iron stores.  Need adequate levels 70-90 to prevent hair loss.

B12-vitamin B12 levels.  Important for hair loss, nerve function (numbness/tingling), anemia and red blood cell production.

Folate -aids in red blood cell production and cause symptoms such as weak, fatigue, cold as well as imperative to anemia and red blood cell production and hemoglobin
